Hello, I’m Bea, a qualified counsellor and Scotland’s first accredited Aphantasia & SDam Therapist. I hold a degree and a Master’s in Applied Psychology, alongside professional Counselling qualifications. My work is deeply shaped by both professional training and lived experience — I am an autistic woman with disabilities, and I’m passionate about helping others embrace and work with their neurodivergence to become the best versions of themselves.
Over the years, I’ve completed additional training in counselling children and young people, couples counselling, and in areas supporting kink and BDSM communities, non-monogamous relationships, and a wide range of neurodivergent experiences, including autism, ADHD, Tourette’s, and OCD. I believe therapy should be inclusive, respectful, and adaptable — a space where every person can feel safe to explore who they are without judgment.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll often find me spending time with my animals, pottering in the polytunnel, or wandering the beautiful beaches of Aberdeenshire, Moray, and the Highlands — places that constantly remind me of the grounding power of nature and connection.
Having lived across the UK and now happily settled in the north of Scotland for almost a decade, I bring warmth, openness, and authenticity to my work. My approach is pluralistic, creative, and guided by the belief that everyone deserves to be understood in their own unique way.
I am a member of the BACP and COSCA, insured and an ICO named person
